2010 USC Train Itinerary: USC at Oregon State Beavers
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2010
LOS ANGELES UNION STATION
7:30am - 8:30am | Curbside Baggage Handling at Front of Union Station
Check Baggage: Before arriving at the station, attach the large fluorescent yellow “Amtrak Group Baggage” tag your check baggage (this will be mailed to you). It will identify your destination as Eugene. Do not place medication inside the check baggage, as riders will not have access to them en-route.
Carry-on Luggage: Attach the small white Amtrak baggage tags to your carry-on luggage (this will also be mailed to you) and ensure that your sleeping Amtrak room assignment numbers are on it. Your carry-on luggage will be delivered to your Amtrak car.
8:30am | Los Angeles Pep Rally Begins
The USC Band and Song Girls will stage a pep rally at the Metropolitan Water Department patio next to Union Station.
9:30am | The Trojan Escort Begins
The band will lead the group through the station, tunnel and up the ramp to board the Amtrak Coast Starlight.

Continental Breakfast
Available in the Pacific Parlour Car upon boarding.
Lunch and Dinner
Lunch and dinner reservations will be scheduled by Amtrak staff. Times will vary.
Onboard Entertainment
Between meals, the Pacific Parlour Car is equipped with a full bar and lounge seating. Board games, cocktails, and great conversation happen throughout the trip in this car. Scheduled activities also take place in this car. In previous years, these activities have included trivia games, door prizes, wine tasting, trick-or-treating, and more.
Downstairs in the Pacific Parlour Car, passengers will find a movie theater. Movies for all ages will be scheduled throughout the trip.
The Observation Car gives passengers the opportunity to take in the sites during our trip. The scenery should not be missed; the Coast Starlight route travels through several beautiful parts of California that are not accessible to automobiles.
En-route Pep Rallies
The band will hold several pep rallies during the trip. These rallies will happen at key train stops along the way. Passengers are encouraged to join them in spreading Trojan Spirit up and down the West Coast.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2010
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast and lunch reservations will be scheduled by Amtrak staff. Times will vary, but our group will be given priority for lunch seating.
12:45pm | Train Arrives in Eugene, Oregon
The train is schedule to arrive at the Eugene Amtrak station at on Friday afternoon. The Eugene Hilton is only a couple of blocks from the Amtrak Station. Transportation will be provided for your luggage.
6:00pm | Pep Rally at Hilton Hotel
The USC Marching Band and Song Girls will perform a pep rally at the Hilton Hotel for USC Train passengers (and all of the University of Oregon Ducks within earshot — they like seeing the Beavers lose even more than we do).
Happy Hour | Eugene Hilton Hotel Bar
Continue to enjoy spirit and spirits with your fellow Trojans in the hotel bar, and then spend your evening enjoying beautiful downtown Eugene. There are lots of great local restaurants and shops to explore within a few blocks of the hotel.

Transportation to/from the USC Game is offered an additional charge. If you’re interested in buying a seat, please contact dustin@usctrain.org.
Tailgating Party at Reser Stadium
The local USC Alumni Association organizes the “official” USC Tailgating party. Tickets can be purchased at http://alumni.usc.edu/football/oregon.php
